Gideon Avida
Gideon lives and works in the San Francisco bay area.
Gideon is Director of SW in Decru (now a NetApp company), which he joined as employee #3 in 2001. Before that Gideon was a SW manager at EFI from 1995 until 2001.
Gideon received his B.Sc. in computer engineering from the Technion in 1995.
When he is not at work, Gideon enjoys flying small planes and sailing.
Gideon got his private pilot license in January 2002, and got his instrument rating in December 2003. So far he flew about 220 hours. He has been sailing since 1993.
Gideon loves to take friends on flights in the area.
The Bay Tour is a popular short flight (~1 hour) over the San Francisco Bay.
